                                                                                                HYBRID HEAT dual fuel systems

Hybrid Heat technology will save you thousands on oil or gas consumption!

Today's heat pump systems are extremely efficient, quiet and affordable. In fact a heat pump system can save you thousands of dollars a year on heating costs. When you purchase a Hybrid Heat ,heat pump system, your are really getting two systems for the same price as one.  The heat pump sysyem will provide air conditioning as well as heating. If you have oil or gas heating in your home, you can realistiaclly thousands on oil and gas consumption.

How it works: Above 34 degrees the heat pump will operate efficiently to provide heating to your home. If the outdoor teperature drops below 34 degrees, the thermostat controller will automatically energize the gas or oil boiler / furnace, and it will automatically change back over to the heat pump once the outdoor temperature rises above 34 degrees. It's a proven fact, that people have saved over 30% on gas and oli consumption with a Hybrid Heat System.

So if your considering installing or replacing a central air conditioning system, its a wise idea to inquire about  Hybrid Heat.

Call us today and see  how much we can save you.

Pricing differences from company to company

WHY?

So your in the market for a new or replacement heating or air conditioning system. You've gathered all of your information from the internet regarding the proposed equipment makes and models. By now you most likely have had your fill of waiting for contractors to come to your home. Finally, with all of your information in hand (Your ready to make that big decision.) All of the systems are pretty similar, but when comparing all of the proposals, there is a pricing difference. Why ??  Perhaps there is something that you missed? Could there really be that much of a difference in pricing from company to company?

Well the answer to that question is Yes. Depending upon the contractor, the scope as well as the cost of your job may differ. Things such as : Equipment quality and manufacturer name brand, energy efficiency ratings, the type of blower motor, along with all of the related materials such as grills, flex duct, trunkline and air duct desgin can add additional costs to your proposal. You see, as humans we all look at things from a different perspective. When replacing your systems with a high efficiency model, its important to look at the complete system and not just the equipment itself. For instance, many people may not realize that the air ducting is an important part of the overall efficiency and effectiveness of your air conditioning system. If your air duct system is old, undersized, poorly insulated and leaking air, then it should be addressed by the contractor as part of, or in addition to the proposal. Ask yourself this question: Would you put a brand new engine into and old rusty broken down car? Of course not. So why replace your old equipment with a high efficiency model only to loose that efficiency through an antiquated inefficient air duct system. So many people make this mistake. You see, some contractors are only interseted in replacing the equipment and look no further than (what your asking for.) This does not make them bad contractors, they are trying to be competitive they want to sell the job right? They may not be efficiency savy and dont want to lose the job due to additional costs. But at what cost to your pocket and comfort. Be aware of what your asking for, let the contractor make suggestions and recommendations on what you need to make your home efficient and comfortable.

Basic Questions that should be asked by the HVAC contractor:  How comfortable was your home with the old system. Was there any air delivery issues? Did you add any addttional square footage or skylights to the home?  Have you had a recent home energy audit and have you reinsulated since you've owned the home?   Did replaced / upgrade your windows with high efficiency models. A full inspection of your existing air duct system is a necessary part of the estimate. If a contractor does not go into your attic to evaluate your air duct system, you should seriously consider if you really want that contractor doing your job.

For over 30 years we have always based our reputaion on Quality. But more importantly, our customers comfort, energy savings and complete satisfaction. At times, we may be a little more expensive than some other companies, but we will never skimp on material or design quality to save a few dollars. Its our belief: Do It Once and Do It right. We will never comrpomise our reputation, your home, or your comfort just to sell the job. So when comparing contractors and proposals, ask questions, get all of your information together then give us a call. And always remember: Never base your decision soley on price or equipment name brand. You can buy the most advanced air conditioning or heating systems on the market, if the system is assembled imporperly or connected to a poor air delivery system, then your money was spent in vein. Let the contractor explain how the equipment and system design that they offer will benefit you not only monetarily but comfort wise as well. Let them explain their installation procedures and the quality of their materials connected to your installation.  Its important to remember. (Not all air conditioning systems are created equil.) In this industry you truly do get what you pay for.

GallettAir Heating & A/C FAQS

What is SEER: Putting it simply. Seer rating for air conditioning systems stands for the term (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) the higher the seer rating the less electric the system will consume during operation. The best analogy is to equate seer to MPG of a car. The more gas efficient the car the better milage per gallon, the less gas efficient the less milage per gallon. In this case the fuel  is electric  guaged in killowatts. Higher seer the better the milage. High seer rated equipment qualifies for Tax Credits as well as utility and manufacturer rebates. These savings can subtantially lower the overall cost of installing or replacing air conditiong or heat pump equipment..

You may be offered a system with a lower seer rating of 13 and the price may look inviting. It's important to realize, that the small amount of money that you may initally save, will literally cost you thousands of dollars for many years to come.

System Sizing for your home: Here at GallettAir Inc. We perform a full manual J8 calculation on each and every home that we estimate for central air conditioning installation or system replacements.  The manual J calculation insures that your home is properly sized not only according to the square footage, but also according to exposures such as windows, doors and skylites, ceiling heights, insulation and the direction that your home is facing are important factors when determining the proper system tonnage for your home. In some cases, the tonnage of your home may differ from your neighbors, although you may have the same style homes. In many cases, homes with older systems may become undersized and inefficient because over the years renovations were perfromed on the home and additional square footage may have been added, or perhaps skylites and additional windows were installed adding to heat gain, requiring additional tonnage for the home to cool efficiently and effectively. When we perform your estimate, you can rest assured that the system we propose is properly sized and will provide you with many years of efficient, trouble free service.  At GallettAIr Inc.( we never use sub-contractors) and all of our materials and workmanship are fully guaranteed for 10 years.

Call us today for a free no obligation written estimate, no high pressure salesmen and no gimmicks.
