No Air Conditioning
- Check Circuit breakers for system, Turn to off position then on position to reset
- If your air conditioning system is connected to your heating furnace be sure that all emergency switches are ON
- Check your thermostat for proper mode and temperature settings
- Be sure you have full electric current to your home. Do this by checking electric dryers and stoves for operation
Gas Smell or No hot water
- If you smell gas Call your natural gas provider or local fire department. (Tell them that you smell gas)
- If you have a gas water heater, be sure that the pilot light is lit. Turn the temperature on the water hetaer control higher see if you hear the water heater burner light if you hear it light then its functioning correctly.
- If you have and electric water heater,be sure the circuit breaker for your water heater is not tripped or turned of. f

LIPA or Con Edison thermostat: If you have a LIPA or Con Edison thermostat and you see the word curtailment on the front display, your system has been remotely shut down to conserve energy during high demand hours of the day. To overide this mode lower the temperature 2- degrees and your outdoor section will resume normal operation.
Before requesting a serviceman to your home or business be sure to:
Circuit breakers for your system: Turn them completely off then on again.
Thermostat settings: Check mode and temperature setting.
Check your air filter: Clean or replace it if necessary.
If you have a combined system where your furnace is connected to your air conditioning system, be sure the Emergency switch(s) are in the (ON) position.You may have more than one emergency switch in your home.
